Painted Chinoiserie Bombe Furniture Chest

IMG_9972POlly3This antique chest by Polly McArthur & Associates shows an esquiste design with raised gesso ornament and decorated with brass mounts and hardware.   This bombe chest has a marble top and is painted in a chinoiserie design.  What a chest!!
