Diane Llewellyn Grover finished this in Old Ochre/Old Violet Annie Sloan chalk paint. She says she is having a lot of success using a thinner consistency, in layers, as it gives more of the illusion of hand painted watercolor.
The knobs she decoupaged with tissue paper, to blend with the Old Violet. The molding/applique in the center is one that she bought from The Purple Pear. The color combo is so feminine, without the foo-foo.
